What is Camp Keepsake?
Camp Keepsake 2025 offers adult cancer patients/survivors (including some in remission) and potentially up to five members of their families and/or friends of all ages, the chance to attend our cost-free weekend camp session. Accepted campers will be invited to attend our camp session. This year's session is scheduled to run from approximately 4:00 PM on Friday, September 19th, through 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 21st, 2025.
Camp Keepsake, a program of Cancer Hope Foundation, is a place where adults cancer patients/survivors can go with their family and friends to spend time away from the hectic and often stressful routine of doctor visits and treatments. This cost-free camp offers a variety of fun camp related activities and spa type amenities for people of all ages in a woodsy camp environment, always mindful of the safety and special needs of the campers. Camp Keepsake provides an environment where family and friends can also learn more about cancer related topics. It is a place to laugh, cry, and embrace life together. Persons with illnesses closely related to cancer, and/or people with other situations wherein the Camp Keepsake directors deem attendance appropriate, are also welcomed under special circumstances. Bring kids, adults, or come alone! Join us for campfires, music, crafts, games, dancing, sharing, massages, sports, facials, photos, and a whole lot more!
All completed camp applications will be reviewed and considered by our selection committee based on a multitude of criteria. Depending in part on our level of response, a portion or all of our applicants may also be considered on a first come/first served basis; consequently, available openings may be filled prior to our application deadline which is subject to change. Our selection committee reserves the right to add or hold open spaces for late(r) applicants as deemed appropriate. Interested patients and those in remission are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Please note that submitting an application does not ensure an invitation. Invitations to attend camp are given at the sole discretion of the selection committee. Depending on our level of response, a wait list may also be initiated.
